Outstanding individuals in implementing the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - bright example", period 2021-2025 received certificates of merit from the Chairman of Rach Gia City People's Committee.

On the afternoon of February 26, the Association of the Elderly of Rach Gia City (Kien Giang) held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - bright example", period 2021-2025.

Implementing the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - bright example", the Elderly Association of Rach Gia City at all levels focuses on promoting the role of the elderly. The City Elderly Association currently has 60 clubs with over 1,000 members, an increase of 32 clubs compared to 2021. The elderly are active and exemplary in implementing movements and activities in residential areas, contributing their efforts and money to build a civilized urban area.

Many skillful mass mobilization models in the Elderly Association of Rach Gia City at all levels have been effective and recognized by the provincial, municipal, ward and commune levels. The city currently has 632 elderly people participating in the grassroots political system, 303 elderly people who are business owners, and 356 elderly people who are good at economics at all levels.

In addition to focusing on promoting the role of the elderly, the Elderly Association of Rach Gia City at all levels also cares about protecting and caring for the elderly, promoting and replicating advanced models. Well implementing the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - bright example" contributes to improving the effectiveness of the Elderly Association in the city, attracting the elderly to participate in the organization of the association. The city currently has 14,599 members, accounting for 93% of the total number of elderly people in the area, an increase of 1,356 members compared to 2021.
