Awarding ceremony of the Contest "Learning about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies"
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 30, the City Social Insurance in coordination with the City Women's Union organized a conference to review the implementation of the Regulations on coordination in implementing policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance in 2023 and award prizes for the Contest "Learning about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies".
During the months of November - December 2023, the City Social Insurance coordinated with the City Women's Union to organize 166 propaganda sessions to disseminate laws on social insurance and health insurance; training with 44,589 participants. Coordinated in organizing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies to create favorable conditions and ensure the rights of social insurance and health insurance participants, including members of the Women's Union. Reviewed and compiled a list of 33,686 Women's Union members who have not participated in social insurance, 5,077 members who have not participated in health insurance. Coordinated with the Collection Service Organization to organize 166 propaganda sessions with 44,589 members attending, thereby developing 3,906 members to participate in health insurance, 541 members to participate in voluntary social insurance.
In 2024, the City Social Insurance and the City Women's Union will coordinate to complete the review and make a list of members who have not participated in social insurance and health insurance and assign targets for propaganda and mobilization to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance. Strive to complete the target of developing participants according to the Regulations. Launch emulation movements to propagate and mobilize participants; promptly commend, reward, and replicate advanced models; enhance exchanges and learn from experiences. Promote coordination activities in propaganda and mobilization to develop participants in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance through diverse and rich forms, especially direct propaganda and mobilization. Organize training conferences and professional training to improve capacity for members. Coordinate to build a model of "Women's Union officials and members actively participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance".
The contest "Learning about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies" was first organized with the coordination of two agencies, the City Social Insurance and the City Women's Union. After more than 1 month of launching the contest "Learning about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies", the whole city had 11,639 officials and members of the Women's Union participating in the contest. Among them, many entries were invested in quality, content and form by the contestants; highlighting more clearly the humanity as well as the practical values that voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies bring to participants, especially to women in the family.
As a result, the Organizing Committee of the Contest awarded certificates to 4 groups and 24 individuals who won the Contest "Learning about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies".
The contest has reflected the effectiveness of the coordination of leadership and direction of the two agencies; at the same time, it has contributed to widely and deeply disseminating the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on social insurance and health insurance policies and laws; contributing to raising awareness of cadres and members about their rights and obligations when participating in social insurance and health insurance. Thereby, continuing to consolidate and create widespread trust among the people in the social insurance and health insurance policies of the Party and State, thereby creating positivity and proactive participation in social insurance and health insurance to ensure social security for individuals and their families. In addition, it has enhanced the role and responsibility of the leadership and direction of the City Women's Union in implementing the law on social insurance and health insurance for cadres and members of the Women's Union at all levels.
