In response to Earth Hour 2025 with the message "Green Transition - Green Future," at 8:30 PM on March 22nd, government agencies, businesses, households, and many areas throughout the province simultaneously switched off unnecessary electrical devices.

As a mechanical workshop, the monthly electricity consumption of Mr. Nen Van Hau's family in Group 4, Minh Khai Ward, Ha Giang City is quite high. Recognizing that saving electricity significantly contributes to cost savings, Mr. Hau actively participates in Earth Hour. The entire electrical system is switched off at 8:30 PM, leaving only essential appliances running to ensure daily life and business operations.

In addition to agencies, units, and households, at exactly 8:30 PM, the entire system of decorative lights, public area lighting, and high-pressure lamps on streets throughout Ha Giang city was switched off. Only lighting at intersections and key locations was prioritized to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. As a result, through one hour of switching off lights and unnecessary equipment during the Earth Hour 2025 campaign, the entire province saved over 7,200 kWh of electricity.
