Ha Giang people actively respond to Earth Hour 2025

Earth Hour is an annual event to raise public awareness about climate change and energy saving. Responding to Earth Hour 2025 with the message "Green transition - Green future", at exactly 8:30 p.m. on March 22, state agencies, businesses, households as well as many areas in the province simultaneously turned off unnecessary electrical equipment.

Mr. Nen Van Hau, group 4, Minh Khai ward, Ha Giang city responded to Earth Hour

Being a mechanical workshop, the monthly electricity consumption of Mr. Nen Van Hau's family, group 4, Minh Khai ward, Ha Giang city is quite high. Realizing that saving electricity will contribute significantly to saving costs, Mr. Hau actively responded to Earth Hour. The entire electrical system was turned off at 8:30 p.m., leaving only essential equipment to ensure daily life and business operations.

Households have taken positive actions in response to Earth Hour, making saving electricity a daily habit.

In addition to businesses, households in the province have also taken positive actions to respond to Earth Hour, implementing electricity saving as a daily habit. Everyone realizes that saving electricity is not only beneficial to the family economy but also helps protect the environment.

During the Earth Hour campaign in 2025, the whole province saved over 7,200 kWh of electricity.

In addition to agencies, units, and households, at exactly 8:30 p.m., all decorative lighting systems, public lighting, and high-pressure lamps on streets in Ha Giang city were turned off. Only priority was given to lighting locations at intersections, crossroads, and key locations to ensure safety for people and vehicles. As a result, after one hour of turning off lights and unnecessary equipment during the Earth Hour campaign in 2025, the whole province saved over 7,200 kWh of electricity./.
