After the liberation day, the officers and soldiers of the 93rd Infantry Regiment continued to go to the Central Highlands to carry out new missions such as hunting down Fulro, training new recruits, and doing business... The Southwestern border war broke out in 1979, and the Regiment was added to the formation of Division 2 (Military Region 5) to continue its international mission to help Cambodia.
