Phu Tho province has had many activities and programs to preserve and promote the value of Phu Tho Xoan singing heritage, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

On the evening of April 14, in Phu Tho, the Xoan Festival 2024 art performance program took place with the theme "Heritage Land" to preserve and promote the heritage value of Phu Tho Xoan singing, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The program has the participation of hundreds of artists, dancers, and students performing unique folk art performances, imbued with Vietnamese national identity, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2012. In addition, Xoan singing is also a place to preserve traditions with a rich treasure of music, poetry, and folk dance with unique melodies and costumes that symbolize the cultural identity of the people here, contributing to enriching the treasure of Vietnamese national culture.
The opening of the art program was the medley of “Xoan festival songs - Bronze drums - Xin hue, Do hue - Bo bo” expressing the joy, jubilation and excitement of the Xoan festival, bearing the cultural and religious imprints of the local people. Next was the Xoan fashion show by designer Phuong Ho with the traditional cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, expressing the pride of Phu Tho people in this heritage.
Also at the 2024 Xoan Festival Art Night, many programs were performed to serve the large number of people and tourists attending the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2024 such as: Performance of the collection "Ho Viet", "Return to the Origin"; fashion show "Di San"...

The 2024 Xoan Festival Art Program with the theme "Heritage Land" held at the Hung Temple Historical Site left deep emotions and special impressions in the hearts of visitors when returning to the origin, to the center of the Hung King Worship Belief.
Towards the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2024, from April 14 to 18 (March 6-10, Giap Thin year), the Center for Culture - Sports and Tourism of Viet Tri city coordinated with the communes: Phuong Lau, Kim Duc, Hung Lo to organize the ancient village Xoan singing performance program at cultural relic sites: An Thai Communal House, Lai Len Temple, Thet Communal House, Hung Lo Communal House to serve tourists attending the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of Giap Thin 2024.
When visiting cultural relic sites, visitors will hear artisans from original Xoan troupes such as Phu Duc, Kim Doi, Thet, An Thai introduce basic information about Xoan singing from: The origin of Xoan singing, the singing stages in Xoan singing and enjoy smooth ancient Xoan melodies such as: Nhap tac moi Vua, Don dao, Bo bo, Trong quan, Mo ca... Visitors can join in experiencing Xoan singing with artisans in the festival singing stage.
Through the performance program of Xoan singing in ancient villages, it contributes to introducing and promoting Xoan singing - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity to tourists from all over the country and international friends; encouraging people and artisans in the original Xoan guilds to continue to preserve, protect, and teach Xoan singing to continue promoting the noble values of this unique art form.
