Quang Nam has an additional Yongin Community Digital Library funded by Korea

The Yongin Community Digital Library in Tam Ky City (Quang Nam) is sponsored by the Yongin Special City Government, South Korea and the International Lotus Village (ILV). The project will be a premise to promote the relationship between the two localities to deepen, especially in the field of education.

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province recently issued Decision No. 445/QD-UBND approving the aid for the project to build the Yongin Community Digital Library in Tam Ky city sponsored by the Yongin Special City Government, Korea and the International Lotus Village (ILV) organization through the ILV organization.

The total non-refundable aid for the project is over 4 billion VND, equivalent to 230 million Won. Of which, the budget of the Yongin Special City Government, Korea is over 3.5 billion VND, equivalent to 200 million Won and the budget of the International Lotus Village (ILV) organization: 530 million VND, equivalent to 30 million Won.

The Yongin Community Digital Library Construction Project is being implemented at the Korean International Lotus Village Education Welfare Complex and will start construction from February 26, 2025 to December 2027.

Yongin Community Digital Library was built to create a space for cultural activities, study and research for students in particular and the community in general. At the same time, it opens a space for cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea and this is the second digital library model in Tam Ky.

In addition, the Yongin Community Digital Library will be a place to organize cultural and artistic exchange activities; exchange authors and works; inspire and spread reading culture to the community; and a place to exchange and donate books.

Thereby, contributing to the development of reading culture and lifelong learning movement, while creating a cultural space for active social connection; aiming to build a Global Learning City initiated by UNESCO, thereby leading digital transformation, developing reading spaces in education and community activity centers.
