Ha Lien village, now Ha Lien residential group, belongs to Ninh Ha ward, Ninh Hoa town, about 30 km north of Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa). The village is located on a strip of land about 2 hectares wide, surrounded by local aquaculture ponds, in the Nha Phu lagoon area. From another angle from above, Ha Lien village looks like a kite floating in space. From National Highway 1 through Ninh Hoa Town , there is only one concrete road leading to Ha Lien village like a "kite string". To enter the village from other directions, most people have to go by boat or canoe.

When passing through the gate to Ha Lien village, visitors will encounter a large yard where people live together and play sports. This is considered the most spacious "open space" in this village.

Most of the houses in Ha Lien village are level 4 houses, located close together with roads only 1 to 2 meters wide, interwoven around the residential area.

According to historical documents, Ha Lien village was formed in 1653, under the Nguyen Dynasty, and is one of seven villages that form Ninh Ha Ward today.

The area in the middle of Ha Lien village is a small market with shops and stalls, which is also a crowded place. Tourists visiting the village often stop here to enjoy coastal dishes such as fish noodles, rice noodles, pancakes...
