Spring tour of the city of three rivers

On the journey to become a “Festival City returning to the roots of the Vietnamese people”, Viet Tri city has been and is a highlight, attracting a large number of tourists from all over the world when visiting the land of the ancestors during the Spring. Referred to as the "city of three rivers" where three rivers converge: the Red River, the Da River, and the Lo River, the "gateway" of the Ancestral Land in general and Viet Tri city in particular, Viet Tri is not only a political and economic center, bearing the shape and stature of a city on the path of modern and synchronous development, but also contains many cultural values ​​with two intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO: Hung King Worship and Xoan Singing.

The first destination on the people's spring journey is the Hung Temple Historical Site, where the sacred souls of mountains and rivers converge. On the sacred Nghia Linh mountain top, visitors light incense sticks, bow their heads to pay tribute to the Hung Kings and pray for blessings and peace for their families and loved ones.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Hanoi city shared: “It has become a tradition for many years now, my family's first Spring trip is always to the Ancestral Land to visit the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site. My family and I climb all the temples together, burn incense to remember, respectfully express gratitude to the Hung Kings and pray for blessings and peace. Coming here, each family member feels more relaxed and light-hearted. I want my children to not only understand their origins and history but also appreciate and continue the good traditional cultural values ​​of the nation.”

Following the Lo River, we come to Hung Lo commune - a place that preserves unique cultural values ​​with a rural market space, ancient houses hundreds of years old carrying the breath of the old Northern countryside, along with the smooth, affectionate Xoan singing echoing under the ancient Hung Lo communal house.

Like many other community cultural tourism destinations, during this time, Hung Lo ancient village is always busy welcoming visitors. Every week, Hung Lo community cultural tourism destination will welcome two to three groups of domestic and international visitors. Visitors coming here can not only visit Hung Lo ancient communal house complex, listen to historical stories of the ancient land, but also enjoy and participate in performances with artisans, Xoan singers, sip spring wine with good wishes, happiness; experience wrapping and enjoying banh chung, the process of making the famous product of the ancient village - Hung Lo rice noodles, shopping at the countryside market... All of these create a vibrant, full of life atmosphere of spring and add interesting experiences for visitors when coming here.

On their Spring journey, visitors can also visit the spiritual cultural complex of Tam Giang Temple, Dai Bi Pagoda (Bach Hac ward) located peacefully next to the windy river, experiencing the sacred water procession at the confluence of three rivers. In addition, visitors cannot miss the fresh, cool, and green space of Van Lang Park located right in the city center with the colors of spring flowers, the hustle and bustle of the streets and the brilliant, sparkling lights of the festival city when the streets are lit up.
