70 years of the Vietnam People's Navy's journey to protect the sea through photos

On the morning of March 6, at Brigade 175 (Hang Vinh commune, Nam Can district, Ca Mau province), the Navy Museum organized the exhibition "Heroic Vietnam People's Navy - 70 years of journey to protect the sea".

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The exhibition attracted thousands of officers and soldiers of Brigade 175, Technical and Logistics Support Center, Naval Region 5 Command; armed forces, officers, party members, people from all walks of life and students in the area to visit.

The exhibition displays more than 200 photos and 30 vivid and intuitive models and artifacts, reflecting the process of building, fighting, winning, growing and developing the Vietnam People's Navy; the typical feats, achievements and noble awards of the Navy; training activities, combat readiness, defense diplomacy, patrolling and managing sea areas; the process of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Navy, firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland.

Local leaders, agencies, units and students visited the exhibition.

Along with that, the exhibition also introduces documents affirming the position, role and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; the coordination of sea and island propaganda between the Navy and ministries, departments, branches and localities; the practical and meaningful work of Navy officers and soldiers in helping people prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue and implement the program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea", the activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children"...

The exhibition is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the Truong Sa archipelago. Especially the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy.

Through the exhibition, continue to arouse pride in the glorious traditions of the nation, the Army, and the Navy; propagate and educate patriotism, foster love for the sea and islands, raise awareness of responsibility, strengthen the belief, determination of officers, soldiers and people in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and building a lean, compact, strong, revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Vietnam People's Navy, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The exhibition runs until March 7.
