On the afternoon of March 5, 2025, at the Ministry's Headquarters, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang received and worked with Ms. Anne - Sophie Courtier, Acting Principal of Normandie School of Management, Republic of France to promote the good cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the School.


Attending the reception were Mr. Vu Xuan Han, Chief of the Ministry's Office, Mr. Luu Quang Tuan, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, representatives of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees and civil servants of relevant units.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang expressed his pleasure to welcome Ms. Anne-Sophie Courtier, Acting Principal of Normandie School of Management and her colleagues to visit and work at the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam; at the same time, he highly appreciated the good relationship between the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of France in general, and between Normandie School of Management and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam in particular.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister expressed his thanks to Ms. Anne - Sophie Courtier and the school leaders, professors and lecturers who have always created conditions and supported young cadres sent by the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs to train and participate in high-quality courses at the school.

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang informed that Vietnam is currently restructuring its apparatus, strongly reforming civil servants, improving the quality and restructuring the contingent of civil servants and public employees in the state administrative system to better serve the people and businesses, meeting the requirements of bringing the country into a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

Therefore, the Deputy Minister believes that cooperation in training human resources for the Vietnamese administration at all levels is one of the urgent and important tasks in the coming time. With the results achieved in the past time, the Deputy Minister hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to open up more practical cooperation prospects.

At the reception, Acting Principal of Normandie School of Management, Ms. Anne-Sophie Courtier, sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs for their warm welcome and sharing of information with her. She highly appreciated the cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs and Normandie School of Management. She believed that Normandie School of Management, with its history of more than 150 years and investment in modern facilities, would meet the human resource training requirements of the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs. She said that the School was honored to be trusted by the Ministry of Home Affairs to choose to send delegations of Vietnamese officials to study, and hoped that the cooperation between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Normandie School of Management would become increasingly closer.

She also shared her good impressions of the dynamism, willingness to learn and share useful information of the young Vietnamese cadres who are being trained in France. She added that in the upcoming training strategy of the School, the application of artificial intelligence will be integrated throughout the three main pillars: improving work performance, innovating in different aspects of economic and social life and implementing the commitment to bring those applications into life....

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang also expressed his hope that young officials sent to study at the School will have many opportunities to access new technologies, digital transformation content, new knowledge, and at the same time improve their leadership capacity to return to serve their assigned work in Vietnam. The Deputy Minister emphasized that to operate a streamlined apparatus, high-quality human resources are required to meet the requirements in the coming time. The Deputy Minister hopes that she will continue to pay attention to civil servants, public employees, and young officials in Vietnam's administrative system.
