60 years ago, Trieu Son district was established when our nation's resistance war against the US was entering its fiercest phase. From that historical milestone, through centuries of many changes, Trieu Son district has not only promoted its historical tradition but also grown strongly, contributing positively to the development of the province. Up to now, the image, position and people of Trieu Son have been affirmed, becoming a livable countryside with many outstanding results.
The policies and plans of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee have been implemented synchronously, extensively, and resolutely from the district to the grassroots level and have been supported by cadres and people, such as: Resolution No. 12-NQ/HU of the District Party Committee on mobilizing people to donate land to expand rural roads has been unanimously responded to by cadres and people and has become a typical bright spot.
The economy has developed quite well, with an average annual growth rate of production value reaching 10.85% (ranking 7th in the province); the economic structure has shifted in the right direction. The industrial production value is estimated at 10,482 billion VND, 2.95 times higher than in 2020, ranking 5th in the province; the average annual growth rate is estimated at 20.16%; capital mobilization for development investment is estimated at 24,267 billion VND, 2.16 times higher than in the 2016 - 2020 period, ranking 8th in the province. |
Infrastructure has been upgraded, 100% of roads have been expanded, paved and concreted; 100% of communes and towns have broadband internet connection and community cultural houses. Budget revenue in the area has increased continuously over the years; per capita income has increased rapidly over the years, estimated at 74.04 million VND in 2025 (an increase of 31.44 million VND compared to 2020). Foreign affairs, investment promotion and business support have really flourished.

The quality of key education has made a breakthrough, ranking 4th in the province in 2024, the rate of schools meeting national standards is 100%. Cultural, artistic and sports movements continue to go into depth; 100% of villages and neighborhoods are recognized as cultural. Revolutionary historical and cultural relics are invested in and embellished, typically the Vietnam Literature and Arts Association Memorial Site (period 1947-1954) in Quan Tin village, Tho Cuong commune; traditional cultural values are preserved and promoted.
Policies for people with meritorious services, social security policies, job creation, medical examination and treatment, and public health care have been implemented with attention. The poverty rate has decreased to 0.3%. National defense and security have been maintained, and social order and safety have been ensured. Party building has achieved many positive results in all five pillars: politics, ideology, organization, ethics, and cadres.
The national target program on new rural construction has achieved the highest results ever. Imbued with the viewpoint: "Building new rural areas is a key task throughout", the Party Committee and the government of Trieu Son district have focused on leading, directing, and organizing the implementation proactively, comprehensively, systematically, with a roadmap and appropriate and effective solutions. In the process of leading, directing, and organizing the implementation, the district has always adhered to the principle of "doing easy things first, doing difficult things later", promoting the role of the people as the main subject in building new rural areas and focusing on setting examples in implementing movements. At the same time, focusing on issuing mechanisms and policies to stimulate demand, creating motivation for development, perfecting rural infrastructure, boosting production, and improving people's lives. Along with that, the district has also promptly issued policies, topics, and movements associated with building new rural areas, suitable to local realities to focus on direction and operation.
In the period of 2011-2025, the district mobilized more than 15,525 billion VND, of which the people contributed more than 9,565 billion VND (accounting for 61.61%). From many mobilized resources, the district has invested in groups of criteria for building advanced new rural areas, contributing to changing the face of the countryside, creating a driving force for socio-economic development with many comprehensive improvements. As a result, by the end of 2024, the whole district had 32/32 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards (100%); 17 communes were recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards (53.13%); 2 communes were recognized as model new rural areas (6.25%); 2 towns were recognized as meeting civilized urban standards (100%). |

Promoting the unique cultural and historical values of the historical relic and scenic spot of Nua Temple - Am Tien, along with other relics, landscapes and landscapes to develop tourism services, aiming to build Trieu Son as one of the key tourist attractions of the province.
