The Hanoi Department of Transport has just announced an adjustment to the traffic organization of Nguyen Trai Street after completing the construction project in the road area, starting from February 3.
Accordingly, from October 2023, Hanoi must adjust the traffic organization of Nguyen Trai Street from Lane 495 to No. 2 Nguyen Xien Street and at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection to serve the construction of Package No. 02 of the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment System Project in Hanoi.
Currently, the project has completed construction, removed all barriers under the road and restored the road surface, to ensure traffic safety, serving the travel needs of the people. The Department of Transport has adjusted the traffic organization in the above area according to the system of signs, traffic organization paint lines, the regulation of the traffic light system and of traffic flow guides.
To ensure the new traffic regulation plan, the Department of Transport requests the Management Board of the City's technical infrastructure and agricultural construction investment project and Tekken Coporation Company to be responsible for withdrawing the entire system of signs, remote traffic control signs, on-site traffic control signs... on the gantry, at the intersections of Nguyen Van Loc - Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Trai - Trieu Khuc, Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection area, and the ER12-ER13 turning point on Nguyen Trai Street that have been installed.
Maintain the installation location of the reflective arrow system at the intersection of Nguyen Tuan - Nguyen Trai and organize the handover in the original state at the scene.
Recover the relocated reflective arrow system and reinstall it on the traffic island at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection.

The Department of Transport also requested the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to coordinate with the investor to guide the implementation of the recovery of the traffic safety system on the gantry, at the intersections of Nguyen Van Loc - Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Trai - Trieu Khuc, the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection area, the ER12-ER13 turning point on Nguyen Trai street... to restore the traffic organization plan before adjustment.
Organize site inspection, return quality and receive back the construction site according to regulations. Coordinate with the Traffic Control Center - City Police to restore the operation of the traffic light system at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection and set up traffic light cycles in accordance with the traffic organization plan and traffic flow.
The Department of Transport assigned the Transport Management Department to notify the transport enterprise operating the fixed passenger bus route Niem Nghia and other transport enterprises about restoring the traffic organization plan on Nguyen Trai Street and the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection so that the enterprises can have a plan to adjust the passenger bus route accordingly.
At the same time, the Department of Transport Inspectorate is requested to arrange forces to coordinate with the Traffic Police and related units to guide vehicles according to the traffic organization plan. Continue to monitor and evaluate the traffic situation on the route and area to promptly detect and propose inadequacies in traffic organization.
In addition, the Department of Transport also requested the Traffic Police Department, the Traffic Control Center - City Police to coordinate to restore the operation of the traffic light system at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection and establish a traffic light cycle suitable for the traffic organization plan and traffic flow. Arrange forces to organize and guide traffic flow for vehicles participating in traffic to ensure traffic safety and avoid traffic congestion. Organize the handling of vehicles participating in traffic that violate the provisions of the Road Traffic Law .
