To reduce traffic congestion at the Lang - Yen Lang intersection, after a period of renovation, the road located under the Cat Linh - Hanoi railway line has been completed and the Hanoi Department of Transport has installed traffic signs to separate traffic flows since the morning of December 30.

The goal of the route (red arrow) is to help cars and motorbikes go from Lang to Yen Lang - Hoang Cau street axis without having to go through Lang - Yen Lang intersection, in order to reduce traffic congestion at this intersection.

The road is 2 lanes wide, with a median strip separating the elevated railway in the middle, but on December 30, the authorities were only able to direct traffic here in the morning. Since yesterday afternoon (when the authorities withdrew), the road has been occupied by shops, cars, and motorbikes of the people, blocking traffic.

Many cars even park in the wrong direction, and motorcyclists also move in the wrong direction.

During rush hour on the afternoon of December 30, Lang Street (from Nga Tu So to Lang - Yen Lang intersection) was packed with cars and motorbikes, causing a long traffic jam.

Meanwhile, vehicles cannot access the newly opened Lang road branch (red arrow) to reach Yen Lang - Hoang Cau street axis.

During rush hour on the afternoon of December 30, Tien Phong reporters were present and recorded the above situation on the new branch road in the direction of Lang - Yen Lang but saw the absence of functional forces such as Traffic Inspectors and Traffic Police.

Commenting on this, a representative of the Dong Da Traffic Inspection Team (Hanoi Department of Transport Inspectorate) said that on the morning of December 30, after being instructed and regulated, cars and motorbikes entered smoothly on the newly opened road branch according to the traffic flow plan of the Department of Transport.

In the afternoon, because the traffic police force in Dong Da district had to be assigned to work at other intersections, the task of ensuring order, including stopping and parking vehicles and shops occupying the roadway and sidewalks, was handed over to the ward and district police.
