This afternoon (March 13), the People's Committee of Thoi Tam Thon commune, Hoc Mon district (HCMC) announced the search for relatives of the abandoned baby boy in the area.

Accordingly, at around 1:30 p.m. the same day, people discovered an abandoned newborn baby on the side of Thien An Pagoda, Hamlet 46, Thoi Tam Thon Commune, so they reported it to the authorities.

Thoi Tam Thon Commune People's Committee and medical team were present to record the incident and take care of the newborn's health.

Through examination, the abandoned baby boy was determined to be about 3-4 days old, weighing more than 3kg, and in stable health.

Currently, the authorities have posted information to find relatives for this boy. If no relatives come to claim the child within 7 days, the local authorities will carry out procedures according to the law.
