In addition, Thua Thien Hue province has also directed departments, branches and sectors to deploy support projects including support for the application of advanced and modern machinery and equipment in production to encourage rural industrial establishments to produce new products.
For the program responding to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" according to the Project on developing the domestic market, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to develop a plan and implement financial support for the construction of Vietnamese Points of Sale, points of introduction and sale of OCOP products. At the same time, organize a series of trade promotion events, trade fairs, conferences connecting supply and demand of goods, markets bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, the program to launch the annual Concentrated Promotional Sales Month... and assign departments, branches and local authorities to coordinate in organizing many events and activities to support trade promotion to stimulate consumption in the area.

Typically, the Conference on connecting trade between suppliers and export enterprises of 6 provinces in the North Central region took place from June 15 to June 17, 2023 according to the Ministry-level Project. At the conference, there were many memorandums of understanding and commitment to connect, and products of production and business establishments were highly appreciated by distributors for their quality and design. Support 6 enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the area to introduce and promote specialties such as lotus seeds, lotus tea, Hue lotus products, pressed cakes, Hue cakes, pomelo jam, freeze-dried ginger jam, candies, sesame candy, products from Bo Chinh ginseng, essential oils of all kinds, fine art musical instruments, Truoi tea, etc. at the Hanoi trade fair.

Currently, in Thua Thien Hue province, the pilot construction of Vietnamese Point of Sale at the Convenience Store of Que Lam Organic Agricultural Products Company Limited and 1 Vietnamese Point of Sale at the Convenience Store of Hue Viet Organic Company Limited has been implemented and supported. At the same time, the construction of OCOP product introduction and sales points at Thien Huong Company Limited has been supported, and 1 Center and 3 OCOP product introduction and sales points have been supported in Quang Dien district.
