Voting for typical rural industrial products is an activity that the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Nam province has focused on for many years.
Statistics show that in the period 2014-2024, Ha Nam has nearly 150 products registered to participate in the vote for typical rural industrial products. Of these, 91 products were recognized as typical rural industrial products at the provincial level, 17 products at the regional level, and 3 products at the national level.

Many recognized products are produced by enterprises, production and trading establishments in industrial clusters - small-scale industry, craft villages, traditional craft villages in the province such as: Doi Tam drum craft village, Nha Xa silk (Duy Tien town); Cheu village rice paper (Ly Nhan); Thanh Ha embroidery (Thanh Liem); life buoys, Quyet Thanh pottery (Kim Bang)...
Thanks to investment in design and market research, typical rural industrial products of Ha Nam are evaluated as beautiful in design and good in quality. The representative of Ha Nam Department of Industry and Trade also noted that through the voting periods, the program has attracted active participation of production establishments; encouraged typical rural industrial products to diversify designs, maintain and improve productivity and product quality, continuously expand production scale, and create stable jobs for workers.
With up to 3 products voted as typical rural industrial products, Hai Dang River Aquatic Products Cooperative regularly participates in trade promotion and trade connection events of the Ha Nam Industry and Trade sector.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Director of Hai Dang River Aquatic Cooperative shared that being recognized as a typical rural industrial product means that the quality of the cooperative's products has been proven. In addition, the cooperative is supported to participate in fairs and exhibitions to introduce products.
Thanks to that, the cooperative's products are known to many customers. The trade promotion program also motivates the cooperative to promote, continue to invest in technology, improve product quality; research and develop some new products to meet the needs and tastes of consumers.

In addition to organizing the selection of typical rural industrial products to find sources of quality products, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Nam also actively supports establishments to participate in trade promotion activities to expand product output.

A report from the Ha Nam Department of Industry and Trade shows that last year, the Department supported nearly 150 enterprises and rural industrial establishments to participate in nearly 15 domestic fairs and exhibitions to introduce and promote products, including typical ITNT products of enterprises in the province to consumers nationwide.
Sharing about the effectiveness after participating in this activity, Mr. Pham Van Hoat - Owner of Pham Van Hoat business household in Nha Xa craft village, said, every time we participate in the fair, we have a chance to exchange and promote products with strong local cultural identity. At the same time, we have the opportunity to trade and exchange experiences, in order to improve product quality and develop the market.
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Nam also coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities to organize conferences to connect product consumption, strengthen linkage activities in the supply chain of Vietnamese goods, and support sustainable connections between manufacturing enterprises and distribution enterprises. Accordingly, 50 enterprises participated in conferences to connect supply and demand, and seek markets for product consumption.
Ha Nam Department of Industry and Trade also provides market information to businesses. Supports businesses in promoting the application of information technology in market work and e-commerce. Operates and effectively exploits the province's e-commerce trading floor; creates conditions for parties participating in the floor, trains skills and operates online business activities, supports transportation, online payment... to connect supply and demand between manufacturers, distributors and consumers.
Up to now, 166 booths have been registered on the floor with a total of 1,170 products displayed and introduced. In addition, it has supported businesses and production establishments to bring products to major e-commerce floors nationwide such as: Shopee; Lazada; Sendo; Amazon; Tiki; Alibaba.
In 2025, the important task of the Ha Nam Department of Industry and Trade is to continue supporting businesses to participate in domestic and international trade fairs and exhibitions; supporting the development of key products, typical characteristics, typical rural industrial products of the province; strengthening trade promotion, building and developing brands for craft village products according to trade promotion programs and plans. |
