The 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Food and Foodstuff Exhibition 2025 (HCMC Foodex 2025) will be held from April 16 to 19, 2025.
The 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Food and Foodstuff Exhibition 2025 - HCMC FOODEX 2025, chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association (FFA) and Vietnam Advertising and Exhibition Joint Stock Company, will be held from April 16 to 19, 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

On October 23, 2024, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Decision 4700/QD-UBND approving the Strategy for the development of the food processing industry in Ho Chi Minh City to 2030, with a vision to 2050. The strategy sets the goal that by 2050, the city's food processing industry will focus on developing key products of the industry with food safety criteria, applying green standards, traceability, sustainable development; applying science and technology, increasing labor productivity, shifting from raw processing to deep processing, refined processing to create high added value. It is expected that from now until 2050, the growth rate of added value in the industry will be maintained at 7.5 - 8.5%/year, the proportion of added value in the food processing industry in the whole industry will reach about 13.5 - 14.5%.

The food industry in Ho Chi Minh City has gradually shifted to in-depth development. Enterprises in the industry have promoted the application of new technologies in production, transformed the production model to green production, used natural resources and energy economically and efficiently, strived to improve quality, diversify products and markets, and focused on building brands. Currently, many quality products with prestigious brands dominate the domestic market, gradually replacing imported goods and have been exported to many countries around the world. Up to now, Vietnam's food exports have been present in all five continents, of which the Asian market is the largest market for the Vietnamese food industry, followed by the American and European markets.
With the goal of developing the food industry in Ho Chi Minh City, including improving product quality to meet regional and world standards, and participating more deeply in global supply chains, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has directed the City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), in coordination with relevant Departments, branches, Associations, and Industry Associations to organize the 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Food Industry Exhibition 2025 - HCMC FOODEX with the theme: "Sustainable green natural products" taking place from April 16 to April 19, 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center - SECC, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. HCMC FOODEX 2025 has an exhibition area of about 8,000m2, with more than 500 booths of 400 domestic and international enterprises participating in the fields of: Agricultural products, specialized processed products, spices, food additives, beverages, machinery and related fields.

During the exhibition days, the Organizing Committee in coordination with associations, specialized organizations, domestic and international enterprises plans to organize a series of useful events such as:
The Master Chef of FOODEX 2025 international cooking competition has the participation of famous chefs and professional judges from Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, ... with diverse and attractive competition categories such as baking, high-end menus ... The competition aims to honor the creativity and skills of chefs, contributing to promoting Vietnamese and world culinary culture. This is also an opportunity to connect food lovers, experts and businesses in the industry, creating opportunities for exchange, cooperation and development in the field of cuisine and food; The specialized seminar program is expected to cover topics related to the food industry with the participation of representatives of management agencies, professional associations, representatives of domestic and international businesses; Business Connection Program: Taking place throughout the exhibition days, there will be meetings and working sessions between businesses and leading distributors in Vietnam and internationally: AEON, Lotte, Central Retail, SATRA, Saigon CORP…; Interspersed activities organized by businesses: Field surveys, factory and farm visits, technology and product demonstrations…
