Vice Chairwoman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee - Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh has just chaired a meeting of the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council to review and approve the results of document appraisal, scoring, and classification of 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level in 2024.
During the implementation of the process of evaluating and classifying 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level in 2024, the working group and the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council received 23 dossiers from 9 districts, towns and cities requesting evaluation and classification for 33 products of 23 entities.

Of these, 26 products were newly evaluated and classified; 7 products were re-evaluated and re-classified. With 100% of the votes in agreement, 33 products were recognized by the Evaluation and Classification Council as 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level in 2024.
It is known that according to statistics of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Phuoc (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Phuoc), as of September 15, 2024, in the province, there were 136 products granted OCOP certification with 3-star to 5-star ratings.
Of which, there are 3 5-star products; 55 4-star products, 78 3-star products with 83 participating entities, including: 37 enterprises, 17 cooperatives, 29 households/production and business establishments.

With 33 more products meeting OCOP standards, Binh Phuoc province has 169 products certified with 3-star to 5-star OCOP certification.
OCOP products of Binh Phuoc province are diverse in types such as fresh agricultural products, processed agricultural products, food, beverages, herbs, handicrafts, etc. To standardize the production process and find output for OCOP products, recently, departments and branches have had many activities to support subjects in digitizing OCOP products.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province has directed the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Phuoc to organize a "Fair to introduce OCOP products and potential agriculture of the province associated with the culinary culture space from cashew in 2025" to promote trade promotion activities, creating opportunities for businesses in Binh Phuoc province to promote and introduce OCOP product brands and regional specialties.
At the same time, it is also an opportunity for businesses to meet, exchange information, cooperate in investment, create connections, and expand the market for goods consumption. Through the Fair, the culinary culture space from cashews and the flavors of Binh Phuoc homeland will be introduced, creating a bustling, jubilant atmosphere, serving the shopping and consumption needs of people in the province.

The fair introducing OCOP products and the province's potential agriculture associated with the culinary culture space from 2025 will take place in Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc province, from March 20 to 24, 2025. Enterprises will display and introduce OCOP products at 120 booths.
With OCOP products increasing in quantity and quality every year, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested that the relevant agencies continue to research and find solutions to support the development of the province's strong OCOP products.
Regularly inspect and evaluate quality, promote propaganda, create conditions for people and cooperatives to participate in building and developing OCOP products, contributing to introducing, promoting and increasing the competitiveness of Binh Phuoc agricultural products in the integration process.
