Truong Son High-Tech Medicinal Materials Cooperative, Truong Son commune has 3 products recognized as OCOP including: Golden flower tea in filter bags, golden flower tea and golden flower tea with cordyceps in filter bags, of which the golden flower tea product meets 4-star standards. To create a brand, enhance reputation and improve product quality, the Cooperative focuses on the preliminary processing stage, designing eye-catching packaging, ensuring criteria, especially food hygiene and safety, traceability... so the product retains its characteristic flavor and has a long shelf life.
Currently, in addition to sales channels through agents, the cooperative also expands product promotion and consumption through e-commerce platforms and other online channels. To improve efficiency, cooperative members actively take photos, record clips, write introductions and post them on fanpages and personal pages, helping to spread product information. In addition, the cooperative regularly organizes livestreams and closes orders.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra, Business Director of the Cooperative, shared that the products meet quality standards and regulations, food safety, have diverse designs and packaging, are environmentally friendly and suitable for market requirements. With the attention and support of trade promotion from authorities at all levels and functional sectors, the products of the Cooperative are known to many consumers, and the consumption market is also increasingly expanding inside and outside the province. Recently, the Cooperative has packaged gift baskets from OCOP products quite attractively with the aim of giving them as gifts during Tet.

According to Mr. Tu, on average, his family produces 70-80 kg of pork and horse sausage per day. In addition to selling in the province and to tourists, the products are also purchased by some agents and wholesalers to consume in the markets of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hanoi, etc. "For food products, consumers often pay great attention to food hygiene and safety, origin. Therefore, we strictly follow the safe production process, labeling so that customers can clearly trace the address and production facility. Being recognized as meeting OCOP standards has helped us increasingly build prestige and trust from customers, thereby helping the brand to reach further and further, and consumption has also gradually increased", said Mr. Tran Van Tu.

Accordingly, this phase has 4 products recognized as 3-star OCOP, including: Thanh Lam Honey Cake (Thanh Lam Honey Cake Cooperative); Luc Son longan (Luc Son Commune Agricultural Service Cooperative); Bao Son - Nep Moc Tuyen wine (Bao Son Clean Agriculture Cooperative); Suoi Mo wine (Suoi Mo Wine Cooperative). The subject with a 3-star OCOP product is granted a certificate by the District People's Committee, is allowed to use the logo of the OCOP Program and the star ranking printed on the packaging, is rewarded and enjoys policies to encourage the development of OCOP products according to regulations.

Some products apply advanced and quality production processes such as HACCP, VietGAP, thereby enhancing the position of local agricultural products, typically including the following products: dried Cordyceps (Truong Tho Herbal Medicine Company Limited), yellow sticky rice wine (Bao Son Clean Agriculture Cooperative), Nghia Phuong custard apple (Nghia Phuong custard apple Cooperative), melon (Luc Nam Safe Agricultural Products Cooperative), cucumber (Luc Nam Cucumber Cooperative)... OCOP products all have brands, become gifts, and are welcomed and highly appreciated by customers in many places.
In addition to the achieved results, according to the assessment of professional agencies, many OCOP products in the district are still produced on a small scale, with low connectivity, the subjects are still limited in market thinking and are mainly in the form of simple products, with few deeply processed products or high technology applications in production. Many subjects still have the habit of passive development, not proactive in product distribution and marketing.
In the coming time, the district authorities will continue to promote information about the OCOP Program on the media so that officials and people, especially producers, clearly understand the benefits, importance, significance and economic value of participating in the program. Pay attention to developing OCOP products associated with building areas of agricultural and medicinal materials with specific growing area codes, in the direction of organic production, ecological agriculture, ensuring food safety and traceability.
Strengthen and upgrade OCOP products that have been evaluated and ranked; promote trade promotion, orient OCOP entities to participate in modern sales channels such as: Supermarket systems, convenience stores, e-commerce trading floors and export potential products; strengthen management and improve food safety quality of OCOP products. At the same time, promote the application of science and technology to develop and improve the quality of OCOP products; in which, focus on supporting the improvement of designs, packaging, stamps and labels.
At the same time, promote trade promotion activities, connect supply and demand for OCOP products through fairs, exhibitions, events to honor, promote, introduce OCOP products, associated with gift products, presents, typical local products; encourage and support entities to carry out linkages in production, business and consumption of products, increase the search for partners. Focus on the inspection and supervision of OCOP products after they are assessed, recognized, and ensure quality and standards.
