Evaluation of provincial OCOP product classification in 2024

On February 14, the Council for evaluating and classifying products of the "One Commune One Product" Program of Hoa Binh province for the period 2023-2025 held a conference to evaluate and classify OCOP products at the provincial level, Hoa Binh province in 2024. Attending were comrade Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Council for evaluating and classifying products under the "One Commune One Product" Program; representatives of departments and branches of the Council for evaluating and classifying.

Comrade Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of Hoa Binh province visited the product display booth.

In 2024, the whole province has 45 products that have been evaluated and classified by the District-level Evaluation and Classification Council as 3-star or higher OCOP products. Of which, 41 products have been recognized by the District People's Committee as 3-star OCOP products; 4 products with 70 points or higher have been proposed by the District to participate in the evaluation and classification of 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level in 2024.

At the conference, the council members scored the products: Pa Co Shan Tuyet Tea of Phuong Huyen Hoa Binh Company Limited; Nhung Van Spice Turmeric Powder of Nhung Van Hoa Binh Company Limited; Detox Orange Tea of 3T Frarm Cooperative and Mo Hamlet Community Tourism Product in Mo Hamlet, Binh Thanh Commune, Cao Phong District. After scoring, the above 4 products achieved from 74 to 86 points, achieving 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, congratulated the entities recognized by the Council for 4 products meeting the provincial 4-star OCOP standards in 2024. He requested that the entities whose products were assessed this time continue to invest, apply production technology, improve product quality, focus on promotion, expand the market, especially the export market. Some products need to focus on packaging to be beautiful, eye-catching and convenient for consumers. Departments, branches and localities continue to support entities to introduce and promote products, attract domestic and foreign consumers. At the same time, actively support entities in localities that do not have OCOP products to have more quality products.
