(Fatherland) - "Tet dong dong 2025" has brought an early Tet, a warm and prosperous Tet to the people in the highlands of Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province.
The program was organized by the Humanitarian Television Center in coordination with the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, the Vietnam Red Cross Society of Cao Bang province, the District Party Committee - People's Committee of Nguyen Binh district, taking place over 2 days, January 11-12, 2025, with many meaningful volunteer activities.
The organizing committee presented 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged students of Ca Thanh Primary School; 10 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties and 500 gifts from sponsors to disadvantaged students in Nguyen Binh district (Cao Bang province).
Attending the program were Dr. Bui Thi Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society; Major General Hoang Van Huu, Deputy Commander of Military Region 1 - Ministry of National Defense; leaders of Vietnam Television; leaders of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; members of the Organizing Committee of the Program "Tet compatriots 2025" of Cao Bang province.
Within the framework of this year's program, the Organizing Committee presented 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged students of Ca Thanh Primary School; 10 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties and 500 gifts from sponsors to disadvantaged students in Nguyen Binh district.

Speaking at the opening of the program "Tet dong dong 2025", Mr. Pham Van Ha - Director of Humanitarian Television, Head of the Organizing Committee shared: This year, the Center for Humanitarian Television chose Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province as the stop of the program "Tet dong dong 2025", because Nguyen Binh is one of the most difficult districts of Cao Bang, where there are many ethnic minorities, life is still difficult, deprived, and suffered heavy damage due to the impact of the recent storm No. 3. The people implementing the program wish to bring an early Tet, a warm and prosperous Tet to people in remote areas, here, thereby contributing to spreading the cultural identity of Nguyen Binh people to the wider community.
Mr. Hoang Van Huy - Director of HDBank Cao Bang branch shared that the unit is honored and happy to accompany Humanitarian Television for many years to carry out programs to care for the traditional Tet holiday of the ethnic minorities. This year, the journey "Tet compatriots" has come to Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province with many volunteer activities from free medical examination and medicine, giving Tet gifts, scholarships, warm clothes to students to organizing "Zero Dong Market"... Hopefully, with these sharing activities and meaningful gifts, every family of Nguyen Binh ethnic minorities will have a peaceful and warm Tet holiday, no one will be left behind.

After 6 successful "Tet dong dong" celebrations in Thanh Hoa, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Hoa Binh, Son La with a series of diverse activities. "Tet dong dong" has left many good impressions in the hearts of the people. The journey full of love of "Tet dong dong" will continue to travel to remote areas to light up the hope for a lucky new year, people to welcome a warmer and more complete Tet.
During the 2-day event, “Tet dong dong 2025” included a series of activities: Visiting and giving gifts and scholarships to Ca Thanh school; Organizing a year-end meal and wrapping traditional cakes; Free medical examination and medicine; Zero-dong Tet Fair; Recreating the cultural space of Tet with folk games; Cultural exchange night, campfire.
