The peak activities of the National Humanitarian Month in Quang Tri province were held on May 5-6, 2025.

Today, March 24, the Central Working Group of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Hai Anh visited and worked with the leaders of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee on the plan to coordinate the organization of peak activities of the National Humanitarian Month in 2025 in Quang Tri province. Speaking at the meeting, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Nguyen Hai Anh said that Quang Tri province, along with Dak Lak province and Dong Thap province, were selected to organize peak activities of the National Humanitarian Month in 2025 with the theme "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love", on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification.

According to the plan, the National Humanitarian Month 2025 in Quang Tri province is expected to have the following main activities: Organizing a ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; Starting the construction of a semi-boarding kitchen at Huong Hiep Commune Kindergarten and providing medical examination and treatment for 500 subjects in Huong Hiep Commune, Dakrong District.

Started construction of the Red Cross House and provided medical examination and treatment for 500 people in Ta Long commune, Dakrong district; Supported the Vinasoy Soy Milk Project for students with an amount of about 1 billion VND; organized a 0 VND Fair to give gifts to at least 500 people and families with preferential policies, and gave bicycles to students...

The total number of beneficiaries is about 6,000 people, with the total value of activities mobilized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to support in Quang Tri over 3 billion VND, of which 2 billion VND is in cash support.

The launching ceremony and peak activities of Humanitarian Month 2025 in Quang Tri province were organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, taking place over 2 days, May 5-6, 2025, with 23 central delegations, branches and Red Cross delegates from emulation clusters from the North Central region to the provinces and cities in the Northern region participating.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong highly agreed on the plan to coordinate the organization of peak activities of Humanitarian Month 2025 in Quang Tri province.

At the same time, Quang Tri province committed to actively directing relevant departments and branches of the province to coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to implement tasks according to plan, ensuring that the national Humanitarian Month activities in 2025 in the province take place solemnly, effectively, practically assisting vulnerable groups and creating a strong communication effect, spreading humane behavior among the people.
