(CLO) This weekend, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Thai Embassy in Hanoi will organize the "Thai Festival: The Pulse of Tradition".

According to information from the Thai Embassy, ​​Hanoi is honored to be chosen as one of the six major cities in the world to host Thai Festival 2025. This event aims to introduce the potential of Thailand's creative economy, while promoting people-to-people connections through culture, tourism and art.

With the theme “The Pulse of Tradition,” the festival brings a new spirit, affirming that Thailand’s creative economy is a symbol of unique creativity, forged from a long-standing cultural heritage and always reaching out, in tune with global development trends.

Accordingly, Thai Festival brings a series of rich cultural activities: culinary experiences, handicraft workshops, outdoor cinemas, and a fair area with more than 50 food, health and beauty care booths. The festival is open to the public from 15:00 to 21:00 on March 28 and from 10:00 to 21:00 on March 29-30.

During the event, the public will have the opportunity to explore Thai cultural space combining modernity and tradition, through many exciting activities.

Thai Festival 2025 in Hanoi brings traditional dances from various regions of Thailand, in addition to the participation of SISMA - a girl group representing the modern T-Pop wave. These performances will be a bridge between tradition and creativity, helping the audience experience diverse and unforgettable music right in the heart of the capital.

The special highlight of Thai Festival 2025 is the Loy Krathong Lantern Festival via digital platform and the Songkran water splashing activity - one of the most vibrant and unique festivals in Asia, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Attendees will be dressed in traditional Thai costumes at the event and participate in daily lucky draws, with the chance to win valuable prizes such as air tickets to Thailand.

The screening will take place at 6:00 p.m. on March 29 with the screening of "Love Destiny the Movie" - a film that will take the audience back in time to explore a fateful love story. At 6:00 p.m. on March 30, movie lovers will enjoy the comedy "404 Run Run". Before that, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the main actor Ter Chantavit Dhanasevi will be present at the festival to interact with the audience and fans.
