Merging To Quoc Electronic Newspaper into Van Hoa Newspaper

This is a task carried out according to Decision No. 495/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 1, 2025 signed by Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung on merging To Quoc Electronic Newspaper under the Information Technology Center (now the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism) into Van Hoa Newspaper.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Editor-in-Chief of the Culture Newspaper and representatives of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and leaders of the Culture Newspaper.

At the ceremony, the two sides announced Decision No. 495/QD-BVHTTDL. Accordingly, the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for handing over the tasks, personnel, records, documents, finances, assets, equipment, and means (if any) of the To Quoc Electronic Newspaper to the management of the Van Hoa Newspaper according to the provisions of law.

The Culture Newspaper is responsible for coordinating with the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism to receive, arrange, organize, manage and use human resources, finance, assets, equipment, and means (if any) of the To Quoc Electronic Newspaper in accordance with the provisions of law and instructions of competent authorities; inherit the rights and obligations of the To Quoc Electronic Newspaper in accordance with the provisions of law...

The two sides agreed to approve the contents of the Handover Minutes of the To Quoc Electronic Newspaper; Handover of personnel, internal records and related personnel records.

Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan and Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper Nguyen Anh Vu presented the handover minutes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Editor-in-Chief of Van Hoa Newspaper, said that this is an important event, a milestone in implementing the general policies and guidelines of the Party, State, Government and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on streamlining the apparatus.

On behalf of the entire leadership and staff of the Culture Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Anh Vu pledged to create conditions for the staff of the To Quoc Electronic Newspaper to promote their abilities, strengths, and pursue their passion for journalism. In the current context, the Culture Newspaper is always open to welcome reporters and editors who love their jobs and are skilled, so the leadership of the Culture Newspaper hopes that the newly recruited staff will quickly and promptly integrate into the common activities of the Culture Newspaper.

"The Culture Newspaper, as the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has now taken on many new fields and tasks, so the Newspaper will also have many more tasks that are both glorious and challenging. Currently, the Newspaper's facilities are still difficult and lacking, however, the Board of Directors will try to ensure the best conditions for you to complete your tasks" - Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Anh Vu said.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that, implementing Decision No. 495/QD-BVHTTDL, To Quoc Electronic Newspaper merged and transferred its functions and tasks to Van Hoa Newspaper.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared that the personnel transferred to Van Hoa Newspaper are the "combat-ready" team of To Quoc Electronic Newspaper, so she hopes that Van Hoa Newspaper will continue to support, manage, and effectively use this human resource, and at the same time expressed her belief that Van Hoa Newspaper will increasingly develop and fulfill its mission as the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the new era - the era of the nation's rise./.
