A week after the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro tunnel mud overflow incident, many households in lane 7, Giang Van Minh street (Kim Ma ward, Ba Dinh district) had to temporarily evacuate to ensure safety because some houses were cracked.
Previously, on February 20, the lives of households in Lane 7, Giang Van Minh Street were seriously affected by the incident of mud and additives overflowing from the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro tunnel. The Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB) and functional forces spent many days to fix the problem.
Nearly a week after the mudflow incident, some households in lane 7, Giang Van Minh street had to temporarily evacuate to ensure safety because some houses were cracked. MRB and related units are reviewing the incident and will have specific information.
According to residents in alley 7, at first only small cracks appeared in the houses, but then the cracks gradually got bigger.
To ensure the safety of the people, on the night of February 27, the investor, contractor and Kim Ma ward authorities supported the evacuation of 8 households in the dangerous area.
