Attention to developing party members in industrial parks
In recent years, the work of Party development in industrial parks (IPs) has received attention from the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc.

Established in 2014, the Provincial Industrial Zone Party Committee has identified the goal of developing the Party in FDI enterprises as a key task. Therefore, the Party Committee has directed Party cells and organizations in the Industrial Zone to effectively carry out political and ideological education for cadres, Party members, union members and workers; disseminate and thoroughly and promptly study the Party's resolutions, directives, regulations and guidelines, and the State's policies and laws.
Through the trade union organization in the enterprise, the cadres in charge of party work grasp information, make meetings to propagate and introduce key union cadres, creating a source for developing party members. In 10 years, the Party Committee of the Industrial Parks has admitted 270 party members, of which 211 party members work in foreign enterprises. To date, there have been 7 party cells in FDI enterprises. In the first 6 months of 2023 alone, 18 new party members were admitted. Currently, there are about 50 FDI enterprises with party members admitted in the industrial parks.

Luxshare-ICT Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park) currently has nearly 26,700 workers, with an average income of 9 million VND/person/month. The Union Executive Committee has 25 members. In monthly meetings, we urge each member to improve their responsibility and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members.
In addition to organizing regular labor conferences and dialogues, the union proposes solutions for ad hoc dialogues at each factory between department managers and workers. This approach helps to promptly detect and resolve legitimate demands of workers, minimizing the occurrence of conflicts in labor relations. On the part of enterprise leaders, the union proposes to publicly disclose production and business results at dialogues so that workers can feel secure in their attachment and share if the situation is difficult. When the prestige of union officials is raised, the bridge between enterprises and workers will be strengthened, building a harmonious and stable labor relationship.

Help workers access social housing

Having been with the company for more than 10 years, I understand that many women from far away places have very difficult living conditions. Although the facilities of the boarding houses have improved, they are still lacking. In the hot weather, all activities of the workers staying in the boarding houses are within 4 narrow walls.
Most of these workers have families, few have one child, many have two or three, and have to send some back to their hometowns or have relatives come up to help look after them.
Recently, many businesses have reduced orders and stopped working overtime, so workers' income has decreased significantly.
Therefore, the dream of a place to settle down and stabilize the lives of many workers far from home is difficult to come true. I suggest that leaders at all levels, especially trade unions, pay attention to building social housing, giving appropriate priority to low-income workers to have the most convenient access. Only when they have a place to live can they feel secure in their work, stay committed, and maintain the stability of their businesses, for the common development goal of the province.
