Speeding up the construction of the road connecting Bac Giang - Thai Nguyen

BAC GIANG - The road connecting National Highway (QL) 37 - QL 17 - Vo Nhai (Thai Nguyen) was started at the end of December 2021, passing through the districts of Viet Yen, Tan Yen, Yen The with a total investment of more than 1.4 trillion VND from the central and provincial budgets.

The project is invested by the Project Management Board (PMU) for the construction of traffic and agricultural works in Bac Giang province, including the main route and branch routes. This is a key project of the province, playing an important role in creating momentum for inter-regional socio-economic development in the province and connecting with other provinces. To date, the branch routes and sections passing through Viet Yen district have been completed.

As the route connecting Bac Giang with Thai Nguyen, overcoming the "concave area" in traffic, opening up new development space for the two localities, the project has received special attention from the province. Currently, the contractor is focusing on speeding up the construction progress of the section with the ground; the investor is coordinating with the localities where the route passes through to resolve difficulties, striving to complete the project by June 2024.

The section connecting Yen The district to Vo Nhai district (Thai Nguyen) has been compacted and the roadbed has been graded.

Investor staff regularly monitor the construction site, urging contractors to concentrate equipment and construction personnel.

Taking advantage of favorable weather, the contractor constructed the section through Viet Tien commune (Viet Yen).

The branch line, section through Quang Tien commune (Tan Yen) has been completed, traffic is convenient.

Investor officials met with people to mobilize and propagate the clearance of the remaining land in Tan Yen district.

Yen The district is developing a plan to support the relocation of Mr. Trieu Ngoc Can's house in Tam Tien commune to hand over the site for construction.
