VinFast Canada has just announced that the first batch of 781 VF 8 electric vehicles has arrived at the port of Nanaimo, British Columbia. VF 8 has also officially received the necessary permits to sell the vehicles and is expected to be delivered to customers in Canada from June 2023.
VinFast's VF 8 model has been officially certified by the EPA to have a travel distance after a full charge of 425km (264 miles) for the Eco version, 391km (243 miles) for the Plus 300kW version and 354km (220 miles) for the Plus 260kW version.
In Canada, the VF 8 Eco starts at C$53,600, while the VF 8 Plus 260kW starts at C$59,200. The Plus also has the option of upgrading power from 260kW to 300kW for an additional C$1,500 per vehicle.
VinFast has also officially received the necessary licenses to sell cars in Canada. According to the plan, the first cars will be delivered to Canadian customers from June.
781 cars are the second batch of VinFast cars exported to the international market, departing from Vietnam on April 16. Previously, 1,098 cars of the above batch arrived at the port of California, USA on May 12 (local time).

VF 8 is integrated with many advanced technology features such as advanced driving assistance system (ADAS), VF Online smart service packages... These features will be upgraded through green software updates to bring the best experience to customers.
The car model also comes with a 10-year/200,000km warranty for the car and a 10-year/unlimited-km warranty for the battery, with mobile repair service and 24/7 rescue during the warranty period.
