The entire 3-room wooden house is located under the power grid corridor, Mr. Nong Van Ngon (village 1 Vai Sieu, Thuong Ha commune, Bao Yen district) happily relocated to make way for the project. In less than a month, Bao Yen district arranged a resettlement site for his family. The new residence is next to the old house, with infrastructure to be invested. From the compensation of 331 million VND, he is preparing to start building a new spacious house on the new land. Mr. Ngon shared: "I am very happy and agree to support the construction of this resettlement area. The district will build roads, electricity and drill wells. I hope the new residence will be better than the old one".

The house is located under the power grid corridor of Mr. Nong Van Ngon.

Immediately after completing the statistics of land payment for households affected by the location of power poles and corridors, Bao Yen district urgently sought resettlement locations for the people. The principle is to arrange interspersed land funds, ensuring safety and convenience for people's production. Even surplus cultural houses are also utilized for housing.

Mr. Tran Trung Kien, Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Bao Yen district said: "If they still have land, we will arrange, level and change the land use purpose. But there are also cases where people have no more land to move, so we have to choose a location to reclaim, which can be reclaimed from organizations or individuals. At that time, we have to mobilize the households whose land is reclaimed to agree and support."

The surplus cultural house was also used as accommodation for people during the relocation process.

To date, Bao Yen has found a location to resettle 25 households affected by the project. The locality is mobilizing machinery, urgently leveling the ground and building all infrastructure for the households. The locality's viewpoint is to flexibly apply support policies as much as possible, helping people to settle down in their new homes soon.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice Chairman of Bao Yen District People's Committee said: "First, the land is better and more spacious; second, electricity, water, and traffic must be guaranteed. Another important thing is to issue land use change certificates to the people, which we must also do in parallel. When resettling, we must ensure full documents for the people, so that the people will see that the new place is better than the old place."

Bao Yen arranges resettlement for households affected by the project.

Bao Yen is striving to complete all site clearance work for pole locations and corridors of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV project by the end of March. Up to now, the locality has selected a location to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, expected to take place in March 2025.
