Through the inspection, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the initiative of localities and relevant departments in implementing the program, and emphasized that this is an important task with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to ensuring social security.
According to Mr. Tuan, Binh Dinh is the pioneer province in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, following the Government's policy. This province supports households with 60 million VND for new construction and 30 million VND for repairs.
"This funding level is basic support for materials. Completing the house requires the cooperation of the people and counterpart funds from other resources," Mr. Tuan said, requesting that the construction be closely supervised so that the house has quality and meets the 3 hard standards of "hard foundation, hard frame and hard roof".
"By the end of May 2025, Binh Dinh will have no more temporary or dilapidated houses. I call on socio-political organizations, businesses, and people, together with the government, to join hands to support poor and near-poor households and policy families, with the spirit of "helping each other" and "leaving no one behind", affirmed the Chairman of Binh Dinh.

"Each commune needs to establish a working group to visit each household to both urge and listen to people's opinions and have appropriate support solutions. Units must report the implementation of the program in the locality to the District People's Committee, so that the district can give timely direction, ensuring that people's houses are solid and spacious," said Mr. Thanh.
Do not neglect the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses because of the arrangement.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Dinh, up to now, compared to the implementation plan, basically districts, towns and cities have achieved and exceeded the set plan.
Binh Dinh has assigned a time limit for the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses to each locality. Of which, An Nhon town and Quy Nhon city will complete the task by March this year at the latest. Phu Cat and Tay Son districts will complete it in April; Tuy Phuoc, Phu My, Hoai An, Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, An Lao districts and Hoai Nhon town will complete it in May.
