Ministry of Education and Training announced 2 high school graduation exam schedules for 2025 for 2 new and old programs

On March 24, the Ministry of Education and Training officially announced the exam schedule and plan to prepare and organize the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training has finalized the 2025 High School Graduation Exam to be held from June 25-28. On June 25, candidates will complete exam registration procedures at the exam room, correct errors, and listen to the announcement of the exam regulations and schedule.

On June 26, candidates will take the Literature exam in the morning and Math in the afternoon.

Candidates studying the old general education program will take the combined exam of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences on June 27. Students studying the 2018 general education program will take 2 optional exams (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economics and Law, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages) on the morning of June 27. June 28 is the backup exam date.

The Literature exam is in essay format. The remaining subjects are multiple choice with multiple choice, true/false and short answer questions.

In the graduation score calculation formula, exam scores account for 50%; the rest is the grade 10, 11 and 12 report card scores (50%) and priority points if any. Compared to before, the report card score increased by 20%.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the exam results will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16.
