The project "Improving the landscape of riverside sidewalks along Thang Long Street from Asia Park to the border of Cam Le District" is invested by the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic and Agricultural Works of Da Nang City, with a total investment of 44.2 billion VND.

The project started construction in May 2024 with the aim of contributing to urban beautification, creating green spaces for people to play, walk, and exercise.

The project is deployed on Thang Long route.

This is the first project in the city to propose planting wind chimes to create a highlight of the landscape and shade for the sidewalk area of ​​Thang Long Street, along the Cam Le River.

In addition, maintain the current shade tree system on the sidewalk of Thang Long Street, relocate trees and species that are not suitable and affect the general landscape; plant new trees such as wind chime, cow hoof, bamboo, wallflower...

The riverside sidewalk along the route is 15 - 21.6m wide; the bicycle path is arranged with a washed stone base.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the project's completion, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said: "The sidewalk of Thang Long Street will become a safe, clean and beautiful space, encouraging people to walk, contributing to building a civilized and modern Da Nang city. The city government will continue to make efforts to improve the infrastructure, increasingly meeting the needs of the people and the requirements of the city's socio-economic development in the coming time."

The walking path is paved with natural stone, arranged with stone benches, seats, exercise equipment...

The riverside railings are decorated with symbols of Da Nang city.

Invest in 2 smart public toilet clusters with automatic sensor system to open and close doors, use high-end interior equipment, antibacterial features, environmentally friendly...

Along with that, the project also built a new general decorative lighting system for the project and walkway lighting.

People have open space to walk and play on the newly renovated sidewalk along the Cam Le River.
