The ICT Competition 2024 – 2025 with the theme "Connection, Glory, Future" and the slogan "IC Competition" is organized with the aim of creating a competitive and international exchange platform for university and college students around the world, improving ICT knowledge and practical skills.
Returning to the third season held in Vietnam, Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 expands the training roadmap on Computing, in addition to the Cloud Track and Network Track content deployed in the previous two seasons.

Accordingly, when registering for the competition, students will be given a learning account on the Huawei Talent online platform, to choose one of three learning contents that suit their wishes and development orientation, including: Knowledge of information technology such as cloud, big data and AI; Knowledge of IP technology such as data transmission, security, WLAN, DCN; Knowledge of: openEuler (Open Euler Operating System), openGauss (Open Gauss Database Management System) and Kunpeng (Kunpeng Processor).
At the end of the course, students will compete in the National Round to find 3 outstanding students to participate in the Asia-Pacific regional round in Malaysia, with the opportunity to participate in the global final round in China to meet, interact and compete with young talents around the world and interact with leading technology experts. In addition, students also have the opportunity to intern and work at Huawei Vietnam to expand their career development space.
The organizers said that the registration period is from November 15 to December 10, 2024. The national round (Vietnam) will take place on December 13, 2024. The regional round in Malaysia is scheduled for February 2025. The global finals in China are scheduled for May 2025.
The Huawei ICT Competition has been held annually globally since 2015, attracting more than 750,000 students from over 2,000 colleges and universities in 85 countries and regions. In season 9, the competition will add Programming, Challenge and Teaching (For Lecturers) sections.
Most recently, at the global finals of the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024, the Vietnamese team performed excellently and won third prize in the Network Track, surpassing more than 470 contestants from 160 teams from 49 countries and territories. This is the second consecutive time the Vietnamese team has participated and achieved high results in the global finals, affirming the capacity of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.
