On December 23, Lac Hong University inaugurated a semiconductor microcircuit laboratory worth 6.7 billion VND. This is the result after 1 year of launching and preparing, such as sending teachers to visit foreign universities related to semiconductor microcircuits; sending teachers to attend training courses at Synopsys Company; visiting the semiconductor microcircuit manufacturing line of Onsemi Company; participating in a semiconductor microcircuit course sponsored by the ITSI Foundation...

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of Lac Hong University, said that to build a high-tech future for Vietnam, higher education needs to play a leading role. Lac Hong University is committed to continuous innovation and strives to become one of the leading universities in training and applied research in the field of semiconductor microchips.
"We will focus on developing high-quality human resources, building modern laboratories and continuing to expand international cooperation to meet the development needs of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam and around the world," Dr. Lam Thanh Hien emphasized.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the locality is preparing land funds to welcome investors in the semiconductor sector, promoting the advantages of Long Thanh airport. Therefore, training human resources for the semiconductor industry in the province is extremely important.
