In addition, continuing education centers, vocational education centers, and vocational colleges and junior colleges can accommodate 11,700 students. Students can learn both vocational and general education. Tuition fees for continuing education centers are currently 100,000-120,000 VND/month, and vocational training is free.
These schools mainly consider admission based on secondary school results (review of transcripts). The time for registration, admission and admission is determined by the schools themselves.
Two days ago, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced a list of 10 private high schools that have not yet enrolled 10th graders because they have not met certain conditions. These schools can be assigned quotas after they fix the problems.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City has about 116,300 junior high school graduates, an increase of 5,000 compared to last year. The public high school system enrolls more than 71,000 students. Thus, more than 45,000 students will have to study at private schools, continuing education centers, vocational education, and vocational colleges.
