BPO - On the afternoon of August 7, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a national online conference on providing comments on the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of Decree No. 44/2014/ND-CP dated May 15, 2014 of the Government regulating land prices, organized by the Government Office in coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The draft amendment and supplement to a number of articles of Decree No. 44 of the Government is an important policy document related to land valuation that is about to be issued. In particular, the land valuation method is an issue that is being debated and concerned by ministries, branches and localities. Because the land valuation method is the biggest bottleneck that determines the progress of investment projects, including real estate projects.
At the conference, ministries, branches, experts and localities focused on discussing issues on shortening and integrating land valuation methods, local implementation capacity for land valuation methods; specific regulations on conditions for applying land valuation methods; whether the methods have resolved difficulties and problems in localities or not, etc.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha asked delegates to focus on discussing and making recommendations and proposals to resolve current problems in land valuation, find accurate and market-appropriate land valuation methods, ensure objectivity in land valuation, contribute to completing the draft amendments and supplements to the decree before its official promulgation, and create momentum to promote socio-economic development.
