Military Region 7 builds 411 houses adjacent to the border

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Mass Mobilization, General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense, leaders of Binh Phuoc , Tay Ninh, Long An provinces. Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 7, chaired the conference.

After more than 3 years of implementing the project, with the high political determination of Military Region 7, the high support and consensus of Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, and Long An provinces, Military Region 7 has built, inaugurated, and handed over 43 points with 411 houses adjacent to border militia posts, exceeding 9 points/241 houses compared to the set target.

In Binh Phuoc province alone, 7 locations/111 houses have been built and handed over, completing phases 1 and 2 in 2019 and implementing phase 3 from 2020, 3 years earlier than the project schedule.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Military Command, spoke at the conference.

Along with the construction of residential areas adjacent to the border militia posts, Military Region 7 also deployed the construction of 69 houses in 12 residential areas adjacent to the border posts and stations. Up to now, 13 locations and 86 houses have been built, of which 9 locations/66 houses have been inaugurated and handed over.

After the projects were handed over, the lives of households in border residential areas gradually stabilized, the relationship between neighbors and the army and people was constantly strengthened, creating motivation for beneficiaries to strive to develop the economy, contributing to building a peaceful and friendly border, firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland from early on and from afar.
