The program “Returning to the war zone” was produced and broadcast on HTV channels. This is also a series of practical activities organized by HTV’s “One Heart” Fund with the support of many units, organizations, businesses and kind-hearted individuals, whose sincere hearts are directed towards the Fatherland’s border - where the green-uniformed officers and soldiers have been and are working with the people in the border area to protect the country’s border.

Sharing about the program "Returning to the war zone", journalist Cao Anh Minh, General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television Station, said that with the common goal of the whole country turning towards the Fatherland's border, the program hopes to contribute to arousing pride in the glorious tradition of the Border Guard, gratitude for the silent, noble, resilient, indomitable, intelligent and brave contributions of the border force through the ages. Thereby, gradually raising people's awareness of the sense of responsibility towards national territorial sovereignty, maintaining political stability in the border area; at the same time, being a bridge for hearts to turn towards the people living in the border areas of the Fatherland.
The program also has the meaning of promoting regional linkage activities between Ho Chi Minh City and localities in the southern border area in particular, and localities bordering Vietnam in general; strengthening the strong solidarity between people on both sides of the border area, for a peaceful life in the border of the Fatherland.
"The program is also a way to diversify the form of propaganda for border work on land in Vietnam, not only fostering love for the homeland, aiming at good humanistic values, but also having an important meaning, contributing to highlighting new pages of history for the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia", journalist Cao Anh Minh emphasized.
Also at the announcement ceremony, journalist Cao Anh Minh, representative of the Organizing Committee of the program “Returning to the war zone”, received a symbolic plaque of the corresponding amount of money from the units for the “One Heart” fund. The program also gave 200 gifts to people in the Vietnam-Cambodia border area.
Within this framework, the Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper contributed 100 million VND to the program. The SGGP Newspaper supported 100 million VND. The Lao Dong Newspaper also presented 10,000 national flags to the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command and 100 scholarships to poor students in the border area.
The program "Returning to the war zone" has 30 episodes, broadcast from January 2024 to April 2025 on channel HTV9 of Ho Chi Minh City Television, provincial radio and television stations and digital infrastructure of the stations.
The program is jointly implemented by Ho Chi Minh City Television with the Vietnam Border Guard Command, Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, and Provincial Border Guard Commands.
