According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the disbursement of the public investment capital plan in 2024 has achieved some results. However, the implementation results so far have not met the set requirements.

In addition to objective reasons, the disbursement progress of the 2024 public investment capital plan is slow due to many subjective reasons under the responsibility of departments, branches, localities and investors.

To complete the disbursement of public investment capital in 2024, reaching 95% of the plan assigned by the Central Government, Da Nang City requires tightening discipline and order associated with the sense of responsibility of the unit's head in the process of handling documents and coordinating project implementation.

Da Nang City noted that the delay in coordinating the processing of documents and giving opinions from departments and branches is one of the main subjective reasons limiting the progress of disbursement of public investment capital.

The total public investment capital plan for Da Nang in 2024 assigned by the Prime Minister is more than 7,291 billion VND. The capital plan assigned by the City People's Council is 8,881 billion VND, higher than the Central Plan assigned by 1,589 billion VND. Of which, the construction capital is 7,587 billion VND and the compensation capital is 1,294 billion VND.

As of October 17, the disbursement of the public investment capital plan according to the assigned budget for 2024 in Da Nang City reached VND 3,845 billion, reaching 43.3% of the plan assigned by the City, reaching 52.7% of the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister. Of which, the disbursed central budget capital reached VND 787,789 billion, reaching 75.7% of the assigned plan.

It is estimated that by October 31, Da Nang City has disbursed 4,380 billion VND, equal to 60% of the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
