The "Leaders of Change" Club is one of the core models of Project 8 "Achieving gender equality and solving some urgent issues for women and children". In Thai Nguyen, the "Leaders of Change" Club is built as a place to share information, helping students in disadvantaged areas and ethnic minority students gain more knowledge about age psychology, gender, and communication skills.

Through the activities, the knowledge and skills acquired will help students change their perceptions, eliminate gender stereotypes, and spread positive information and messages to the community.

Do you play games, do you use social networks, do you start relationships on social networks, on cyberspace? With today's technology, access to information is easier, students can easily get information to serve their studies, easily access knowledge, but along with that is bad information, toxic information. Do you have any way to protect yourself from that bad information? Have you ever grasped the information warning about scams, known the tricks of online scams and warned your relatives to be alert, vigilant against fraudulent behavior on the internet.

With this interesting topic, the students discussed together. Luc Thi Kieu Chinh, a 9th grade student at Ban Dat Secondary School, said: "The activities of the "Leader of Change" Club, when implemented at school, have equipped us with knowledge and skills related to gender equality and child protection, helping us to be aware and have the right behavior in preventing and responding to violence and child abuse. I find the topics of the activities and meetings of the Club very close and practical, we are all more confident when presenting our views and opinions."

"Do you have a girlfriend?" - "No, I don't, but at our age, we are starting to like each other. What is the right feeling for our age, knowledge about gender, knowing how to respect girls, eliminating the idea of male superiority over female, what is gender equality, how we can participate in implementing gender equality are the things that we discussed together when we were guests attending the "Leader of Change" club meeting", Diep Tinh Tan, an 8th grade male student from San Diu, Ban Dat Secondary School, shared.

The "Leader of Change" Club has operated effectively, helping students to profoundly change their way of thinking, learning, and working, helping them to have more confidence and dare to speak up for themselves.
