The contest is an opportunity for students in the area to share their knowledge and understanding of the areas they are interested in, thereby developing skills for students, such as: Communication skills, listening and expressing skills, skills to present thoughts and ideas, writing skills, photography skills, cooperation skills, teamwork skills, decision-making skills and problem solving skills related to children and gender equality.
The contest attracted the participation of 15 teams, the students went through 3 rounds: Leadership talent (each team created 01 art performance showing the talents of the members of the Club. The teams chose a suitable form of performance, highlighting the content introducing the Club, the unit, related to gender equality through the forms of dramatization)
Leadership vision competition: Each team presents a media situation with content appropriate to the topic in a dramatic form to convey messages to propagate, educate, and mobilize people and communities in the work of protecting children's rights and gender equality.
Finally, the intellectual leadership competition: The teams draw lots to choose the topic and content of their competition. Based on their knowledge, the team will come up with an initiative to solve the problem assigned to them in the form of a presentation.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the "Talented Leader" Team of the Leader of Change Club of Hoa An Secondary School; 02 Second Prizes to the team of Yen Nguyen Secondary School, Tan An; 03 Third Prizes to the teams of Nhan Ly Primary and Secondary School and Tri Phu and Linh Phu Boarding Secondary School; 09 Encouragement Prizes to the teams of Trung Ha, Yen Lap, Hung My, Kien Dai Boarding Secondary School, Phu Binh Secondary School, Tan My, Binh Nhan Primary and Secondary School, Ha Lang, Binh Phu. 03 Consolation Prizes to the teams of Tan An, Yen Nguyen, Hoa An Secondary School.
The “Leaders of Change” Club is one of the four basic models of Project 8 “Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children” under the National Target Program 1719. The Club has been effectively implemented by the Women's Union at all levels in Chiem Hoa district. The “Talented Leader” Competition of the Leaders of Change Club of Chiem Hoa district in 2024 is a practical and meaningful activity, contributing to promoting the “Leaders of Change” movement in primary and secondary schools in the district, thereby helping students develop comprehensively and become useful citizens for society.
