The "Ring the Golden Bell" contest, dramatization of propaganda on preventing school violence, preventing child abuse, and experience sharing seminars... are outstanding activities at the Forum for exchanging and sharing experiences and solutions to improve the quality of the "Leader of Change" Club model.
On November 10, in Dong Xoai City, the Women's Union of Binh Phuoc Province organized a forum to exchange and share experiences and solutions to improve the quality of the "Leaders of Change" club model. This event aims to implement Project 8 on "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children", under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Phase I.
According to the Women's Union of Binh Phuoc province, the "Leaders of Change" Club was established with the goal of creating an environment for learning, self-development and cultivating leadership skills for young people with a passion for change and creativity. The model is like a "forge" to train teamwork skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and inspire strong change for the young generation of ethnic minority children. Thereby, they have more opportunities to interact and learn from each other, and have the opportunity to affirm their own values.

After 3 years of implementing Project 8, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Women's Union has established 9 "Leaders of Change" clubs. The activities of the clubs have become increasingly systematic and in-depth, contributing to promoting and raising awareness of gender equality and children's rights in the local ethnic minority areas.

However, in the process of implementing activities, the clubs still face many difficulties such as: Difficulties in different geographical and cultural conditions, maintaining the enthusiasm of members, organizing effective activities, developing a sustainable club model and having a wide influence in the community... In order to help members of the "Leaders of Change" Club have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss ways of doing things and overcome difficulties, the Binh Phuoc Women's Union organized a forum on a province-wide scale.
Clubs participate in the skit competition.
At the forum, club members participated in folk games, the Golden Bell contest, skit contest, and exchange discussions. Through these activities, members learned and gained knowledge about children's rights, gender equality, teamwork skills, and prevention of school violence and child abuse.
In particular, the "Discussion on exchanging experiences and sharing solutions to improve the quality of the "Leader of Change" Club model is considered the "highlight" of the program. Because for ethnic minority people, the eyes must see and the ears must hear for trust to be firmly built. Therefore, the real stories from the teachers, the Team Leaders, the Women's Union officials, the youth union leaders at the grassroots level or the students in the Board of Directors and Club members have helped the students to have more confidence and determination to build their Club more and more effectively.
Talk show.
At the seminar, the guests participating in the exchange drew together a number of important solutions to contribute to improving the quality of the Change Leaders Club, such as: First, enhancing the community value of the Club. That is, the Club is not only valuable for each individual but also for the entire community, creating an environment for students to develop leadership skills, communication and social integration. Second, there needs to be methods to attract student participation through rich, creative activities that suit their needs and interests. Third, the activities need to create a friendly atmosphere, encourage creativity and promote the ideas of the members. Fourth, promote the role of members, especially those in the Board of Directors. In addition, calling for support from the community, such as parents or social organizations, is also considered a key factor for sustainable development.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, Vice President of Binh Phuoc Provincial Women's Union, awarded the first prize winner of the Golden Bell contest at the Forum.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, Vice President of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Women's Union, said: "Today's forum is not only a theoretical discussion but also a playground for you to share your stories and practical experiences. I believe that through each shared story, you will find suggestions, good and creative solutions to apply to your club activities. I hope that the knowledge and skills you gain from the forum will be applied to your daily life, contributing to creating positive changes in your family and community."
