(Baoquangngai.vn) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh - Head of the Reception and Logistics Subcommittee, Organizing Committee for the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) requested members of the Subcommittee to review and complete all tasks according to assigned functions and tasks to successfully organize the celebration.
On the afternoon of February 27, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh - Head of the Reception and Logistics Subcommittee of the Organizing Committee for the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising and the 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day chaired the 1st Meeting of the Subcommittee. Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien; members of the Reception and Logistics Subcommittee.

According to the report of the Provincial Party Committee Office, up to now, the contents related to the organization of the Scientific Conference on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising have been carefully prepared. The Office has coordinated with Military Region 5 to make a list of delegates attending the conference to advise on issuing invitations; develop a plan for accommodation and transportation of delegates. The conference hall has also been carefully prepared in terms of facilities, ensuring solemnity and comfort. The art program welcoming the conference has also been scripted in detail.

The preparation of sideline activities of the workshop was also coordinated by relevant units in detail, with activities such as: Offering incense and flowers at the Ba To Uprising Monument; organizing tours, recording souvenir books and planting souvenir trees at the Ba To Uprising Museum; organizing the inauguration of the Digital Library. Coordinating with Military Region 5 to organize the handover of gratitude houses and giving gifts to policy families. Organizing exhibitions of artifacts and documents about the Ba To Uprising; displaying OCOP products. In particular, the propaganda work was planned in detail by relevant agencies and units and implemented according to the set plan.

Representatives of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also reported on the preparations for the 80th Anniversary of the Ba To Uprising and the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai Province. Up to now, the Department has advised the provincial leaders to issue an open letter of sponsorship and invitation to attend the celebration. Confirm the information of delegates, prepare conditions for transporting, welcoming, and arranging accommodation for central and non-provincial delegates attending the ceremony. Develop a diagram of seating arrangements, name tags, delegate badges, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh said that from now until the official ceremony, there is not much time left, but the workload is very large, so the members of the Subcommittee need to closely follow the Provincial Plan, urgently review and complete all assigned tasks according to their functions and tasks. In particular, focus on monitoring and grasping the delegates attending the ceremony to make a plan; the reception of delegates, arrangement of food, accommodation, transportation, and travel need to be carefully implemented, with specific assignments to serve well for the successful organization of the celebration.
