Quang Ngai Newspaper joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

(CLO) Quang Ngai Newspaper donated 180 million VND to join hands to eliminate temporary houses for people in Mo Duc and Son Ha, Quang Ngai province.


On March 1, in Mo Duc district, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc presented a symbolic plaque of 120 million VND to the district Women's Union.

This money will be used to build 2 new houses for households living in temporary, dilapidated houses. This is a valuable source of funding supported by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Dung Quat Branch and the Provincial Social Policy Bank through Quang Ngai Newspaper.

Previously, Quang Ngai Newspaper also donated 60 million VND to Son Ha District to support the construction of a house for a family with special housing difficulties. Thus, in just a short time, Quang Ngai Newspaper has mobilized and donated a total of 180 million VND, contributing to bringing warm homes to 3 poor families in the province.

According to the plan, in 2025, Quang Ngai Newspaper will continue to promote the mobilization of funds from officials, civil servants, employees at agencies, units and enterprises in the province. The goal is to support the construction of 10 more houses for families with housing difficulties in localities in the province.

The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025 is a major policy of special political significance and profound humanity of the Party and State. In Quang Ngai, this movement has received positive responses from authorities at all levels, organizations, businesses and people, demonstrating a sense of community responsibility and joining hands to care for the poor and disadvantaged.

"We hope these new houses will be a solid foundation, helping families to stabilize their lives and contribute to building Quang Ngai homeland to become more and more prosperous," Mr. Nguyen Phu Duc shared.

Quang Ngai Newspaper pledges to continue to accompany the government and people in the province, making every effort to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing a better life to those in difficult circumstances.
