On the morning of February 28, 2025, the People's Committee of Thu Thua district held a conference to announce the Resolution of the District People's Council to establish specialized agencies under the District People's Committee and to hand over decisions on personnel work. Secretary of the Thu Thua District Party Committee - Dinh Van Sau attended.
Accordingly, Thu Thua district established the Thu Thua District Internal Affairs Department on the basis of merging the existing Thu Thua District Internal Affairs Department and the Thu Thua District Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Department, appointing Ms. Vo Thi Huynh Dung to the position of Head of the Department; Appointing Mr. Le Van Bang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh Trang and Mr. Vo Chi Tam to the position of Deputy Head of the Department. For Mr. Le Van Bang, the appointment period is from March 1, 2025 until the retirement period according to Decision 1801 of the Long An Provincial People's Committee.
Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thu Thua district on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thu Thua district, appoint Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam to the position of Head of the Department. Appoint Mr. Ho Van Trai, Mr. Huynh Diem Phuc and Mr. Nguyen Huu Loi to the position of Deputy Head of the Department.
Establish the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Thu Thua district on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of advising on State management of construction, traffic, industry and trade in the district from the current Economic and Infrastructure Department, appoint Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong to the position of Head of the Department, appoint Mr. Le Thanh Truong and Mr. Le Huu Duyen to the position of Deputy Head of the Department.
Establish the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Thu Thua district on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Culture and Information and the functions and tasks of science and technology from the current Department of Economy and Infrastructure, appoint Mr. Le Tan Duc to the position of Head of the Department, appoint Ms. Le Thi Lang Phuong to the position of Deputy Head of the Department.
At the same time, the District People's Committee also announced the decisions on early retirement according to Decree No. 177 of the Government for Mr. Le Van Tri - Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh An commune and Mr. Chau Ngoc Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhi Thanh commune.
On the same day, Thu Thua District Party Committee also announced decisions to rename and merge Party cells under the District Party Committee and announced decisions on personnel work.
Specifically, rename the basic Party cell of the Economic and Infrastructure Department to the basic Party cell of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department; rename the basic Party cell of the Cultural and Information Department to the basic Party cell of the Cultural, Science and Information Department; merge the basic Party cell of the Natural Resources and Environment Department and the basic Party cell of the District Agriculture and Rural Development Department into the basic Party cell of the Agriculture and Environment Department; merge the basic Party cell of the Internal Affairs Department and the basic Party cell of the Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Department into the basic Party cell of the Internal Affairs Department.
In addition, the Standing Committee of Thu Thua District Party Committee decided to transfer comrade Nguyen Hoang Phong to work at the office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; to remove comrade Nguyen Ngoc Nhan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thanh Commune from participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Thanh Commune, term 2020 - 2025; to transfer to work at the grassroots Party Committee of Nhi Thanh Commune and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhi Thanh Commune, term 2020 - 2025;
Transfer comrade Le Anh Tuan to work at the grassroots Party Committee of Binh Thanh commune; appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the grassroots Party Committee of Binh Thanh commune, term 2020 - 2025; Transfer comrade Le Hoang Viet to work at the grassroots Party Committee of Binh An commune; appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the grassroots Party Committee of Binh An commune, term 2020 - 2025. The above Resolutions and Decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee decided to dismiss comrade Nguyen Thi Da Thao, member of the District Party Committee - Deputy Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department from her job from March 1, 2025. Comrade Nguyen Thi Da Thao is entitled to the termination policy according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, dated December 31, 2024 of the Government and current regulations.
Secretary of Thu Thua District Party Committee - Dinh Van Sau respectfully thanked the retired comrades for their contributions and congratulated the comrades who received the decision.
