The 3rd Dak Lak Province Primary and Secondary STEM Festival in 2025 has the theme "STEM Education - Connecting Passion and Creativity" including main activities such as: organizing 3 teaching periods on STEM topics at 2 primary and secondary levels; displaying and introducing 108 STEM projects and products of 231 students from primary and secondary schools in the province; organizing a workshop on STEM education with the theme "Improving the quality of STEM education activities in primary and secondary schools"...
Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Tuong Hiep delivered the opening speech of the Festival.
Speaking at the opening of the Festival, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee Do Tuong Hiep said that in recent years, STEM education has been deployed to high schools and has achieved positive results. Schools have implemented teaching of subjects in the field of STEM education in the spirit of integrated teaching; professional groups and teams have actively developed rich, practical STEM education topics that bring excitement to students.

For primary school level, although it has only been implemented at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, schools have organized STEM lessons that closely follow the requirements of subjects, educational activities and pay attention to artistic and humanistic elements.

STEM education is an educational model based on an interdisciplinary approach, helping students apply knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to solve practical problems in the context of innovation.
