The 4th Vietnam International Exhibition on Supporting Industries and Manufacturing - VIMEXPO 2023 was officially opened today (November 15) in Hanoi. The program is directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, chaired by the Industrial Development Support Center - (IDC), in coordination with CIS Vietnam Advertising and Exhibition Company.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Thang - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade - said: “In the context that the Government and the business community are making efforts to promote economic recovery with the orientation of connection for development, I believe that VIMEXPO Exhibition 2023 will become an ideal meeting place for businesses, creating opportunities to form and develop domestic value chains through attracting effective investment and promoting business connections and linkages between Vietnamese enterprises and multinational enterprises, domestic and foreign manufacturing and assembly companies.
Contribute to concretizing and realizing the wishes and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam in building a strong national industry on the basis of developing a system of large industrial enterprises in both quantity and quality".
According to Mr. Watanabe Shige - Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, in the context of the global shift in the supply chain, in order for Vietnam's manufacturing and processing industry to develop further and become an important link in the supply chain, the growth of related industries, namely the supporting industry, is very important. It is important that Vietnam promotes digital transformation and promotes the production of products with high added value.
IFC Vietnam Representative - Mr. Darryl Dong said: "Vietnam has affirmed itself as an important manufacturing center of the world. This is a favorable start. Vietnam has attracted quite impressive FDI capital and multinational companies".
VIMEXPO Exhibition belongs to the Supporting Industry Development Program, which is an event to concretize Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP of the Government, aiming to create a favorable environment for enterprises operating in the supporting industry and manufacturing and processing sector to introduce products, exchange technology, seek partners, form joint ventures, and attract investment. With the goal of connecting for development, through 3 times of organization, VIMEXPO has received the attention and support of domestic and international enterprises in the supporting industry and manufacturing and processing sector.
VIMEXPO 2023 has a scale of 7,000m2 with nearly 300 booths and the participation of more than 200 enterprises such as THACO Group, TOYOTA Vietnam, VEAM Corporation, Samsung Vietnam, KOWANG, HORN & BOEHLERIT, JAAN - E... and companies from countries and territories Germany, Japan, Korea, China...
