The Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee was reminded for not seriously implementing the direction of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee despite being reminded many times, leading to slow progress in completing compensation and site clearance work.
On March 1, information from the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that this unit has just issued a notice of the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong at a thematic meeting to resolve the backlog of investment projects under the PPP form.

Accordingly, for the investment project to build the connecting section from Pham Van Dong Street to Go Dua - National Highway 1 intersection (Thu Duc City), the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board) to urgently coordinate with Van Phu Bac Ai Joint Stock Company to review and evaluate the cross-section to ensure synchronization with the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2 project (section 1, section 2).
For the Phu My Bridge BOT project, the Department of Transport will urgently preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and relevant units to complete the interdisciplinary working group to negotiate the BOT contract and report to the City People's Committee before March 10.
Regarding the BT project of the Phu My bridge connecting road, the relevant departments and units are assigned to urgently report and handle any problems and issues. At the same time, the investor is required to urgently increase the payment to the state budget for the remaining amount (not yet paid).

Regarding the parallel road project of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (at An Phu intersection along the expressway), the leaders of the City People's Committee requested Nguyen Phuong Company to complete the feasibility study report to adjust the project; proactively work with Thu Duc City People's Committee to unify compensation and site clearance work, ensuring this is completed in the second quarter of 2025.
Request to mobilize human resources and machinery to complete the project from Mai Chi Tho Street to Nguyen Thi Dinh Street and the Ba Dat Bridge underpass package, to be completed in March 2025; complete the entire project in 2025.
Assign the HCM City Department of Transport to study the plan to develop a parallel road from An Phu intersection to Vo Chi Cong street.
In particular, in the conclusion of Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong, it was clearly stated that he reminded the Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee that due to not seriously implementing the direction of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee (despite being reminded many times), the progress of completing compensation and site clearance work was slow, and he requested to learn from experience to avoid recurrence, and report the results of the implementation of the task to Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee before March 10.
To ensure the progress of key projects, recently, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has issued many documents requesting Thu Duc City to speed up the work of compensation, resettlement and site handover. However, this work still faces many obstacles and difficulties, so it has not brought about the results as planned.
In addition to projects such as upgrading and expanding Luong Dinh Cua Street, An Phu intersection, My Thuy intersection, Tang Long bridge... the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Thu Duc City is still stuck with land acquisition. Thu Duc City has planned to enforce the remaining land acquisition in March 2025 to hand over to the investor to implement the project.
