On the morning of December 13, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province met with nearly 100 religious dignitaries from the three main religions in Hai Duong province (Buddhism, Catholicism and Protestantism) to inform and propagate the results of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels. This is the first year that the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of the province has organized a meeting with religious dignitaries.
At the conference, religious dignitaries heard reports on the results of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2024-2029 term and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the socio-economic development situation of the province in 2024, and socio-economic development tasks in 2025.
After listening to the report, religious dignitaries expressed their joy because Hai Duong province has made efforts and united to achieve many important results in socio-economic fields; completing the goals set by the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels.
Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan suggested that in the coming time, religious dignitaries of Hai Duong province should strengthen propaganda and dissemination of the Party and State's policies and laws. Actively mobilize resources to reduce poverty, completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor in 2025. Propagandize and mobilize people in site clearance; participate in organizing public consultation on draft documents of Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party. Be vigilant against all plots of hostile forces, taking advantage of religion to divide and sabotage the great national unity bloc.
Focus on researching, deploying and effectively implementing the Resolutions of the Congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels and the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Mobilize people and religious followers to effectively carry out emulation movements and campaigns, especially the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"...
Unite and help each other to develop the economy and reduce poverty; effectively use capital resources to invest in production and business development, create jobs, and sustainably reduce poverty, contributing to the successful implementation of political goals and tasks, socio-economic development, and maintaining national defense and security of the province.
Promote gratitude, humanitarian and charitable activities; in which, pay special attention to helping families with revolutionary contributions, homeless people, orphans, people with disabilities, people in difficult circumstances, etc.
Hai Duong currently has 1,164 places of worship; 621 dignitaries, monks and 218,939 followers, accounting for over 11% of the province's population.
Over the years, religious followers in Hai Duong province have always demonstrated their patriotic traditions, hard-working spirit, creativity and compassion. The emulation movement among religious followers has closely followed the political, socio-economic, national defense and security tasks of the province and locality; programs have been widely launched, spreading to religious establishments with diverse and rich forms, attracting the participation and active response of a large number of religious followers, arousing the tradition of solidarity, hard work, creativity, overcoming difficulties and challenges, making great contributions to the overall development of the province.
