On the morning of August 29, the Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs coordinated with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (Ministry of Home Affairs) to organize a conference to disseminate laws on beliefs and religions to religious dignitaries, officials, monks and nuns, representatives and management boards of a number of religious establishments in the province.
During the 1-day event, more than 300 delegates will hear information about the following contents: Overview of the situation of beliefs and religions in Vietnam and basic contents of the viewpoints and policies of the Vietnamese State on beliefs and religions; basic contents of the Law on Beliefs and Religions; new points of Decree No. 95/ND-2023/ND-CP dated December 29, 2023 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Beliefs and Religions, which has just been issued by the Government to replace Decree No. 162/2017/ND-CP dated December 30, 2017.
Delegates will also discuss and have their opinions answered regarding a number of provisions of laws, decrees and administrative procedures related to beliefs and religions; and issues in the process of religious activities in the locality.
